I can smell gas—what should I do?

If you smell gas, open doors and windows, avoid smoking or naked flames, and do not operate electrical switches. Leave the property immediately and call the free 24-hour National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Do not use this website’s contact form during a gas emergency.
